This public consultation will be used to inform the final design of the scheme. We therefore welcome your comments on the proposals. Please note the consultation commences on Friday 02 October 2026, and ends on Friday 16 October 2026.

Following this consultation we will collate all comments in line with national and local guidance and submit as part of the forthcoming full planning application, which we are aiming to submit in before the end of 2026.

Once the application is submitted and validated by the Local Planning Authority, you will also have the opportunity to send your comments to Barnsley Council via their Public Access website.
